Beyond the bottom line: culture, well-being and fulfillment
Last week I attended Culture Amp's Culture First Leaders Forum in Sydney, where we weren’t afraid to tackle the big issues and ask the tough questions. The theme of Better culture, better bottom line couldn’t be more relevant, especially with organisations grappling with low engagement, uncertainty, and high turnover.
The forum surfaced critical questions for leaders:
Are we measuring the right things when it comes to employee engagement?
Are our current engagement metrics reflecting employee well-being?
How can we validate our people while simultaneously challenging them to grow?
How can we create space for growth in our own lives?
In our latest article, we delve into how leaders can foster a culture of well-being and unlock true fulfillment for their teams. We explore the eight dimensions of employee wellness and offer insights on how leaders can create an environment that supports growth and purpose.

I met Yvonne recently and was inspired by the incredible work she's doing to empower refugees and migrants in their career journeys. In this episode, Yvonne discusses how Glow Up Careers is breaking down systemic barriers by connecting refugees and migrants with potential employers and using AI-powered tools and personalised coaching to bridge the gap and foster a skills-first approach to hiring.
